Blockchain is the Cornerstone of

Microservices Architecture

The underlying technology is a scalable distributed ledger, or blockchain, technology designed by Competitive Edge Technology. The design PARTITIONS employee owned data from company owned data for security and autonomy purposes and provides company participants with an integrated low code/low cost microservices platform to manage their HR data efficiently and compliant with the principles of traceability and auditability. The platform is designed for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Most current HR legacy systems with a monolithic design and centralized data store cannot provide the same level of protection as the new blockchain infrastructure offers. The solution partitions employee owned data from company owned data, applies encryption for data protection, and introduces scalability to support a global workforce database and enable data portability. The diagram below illustrates the architecture.

NOTE: Companies wishing to register with HR membership organizations in their country and participate in the Decentralized HR consortium do not have to adopt the new technology platform immediately, but will need to do so before their employee owned data can be transitioned to the blockchain or make special arrangements with Competitive Edge Technology to transition data on their behalf.
